- STOVE – Fill a large pot with water, place over high heat. Bring water to boil and season with salt to taste. Add the breadfruit, making sure it is completely covered with water, return water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until breadfruit is completely tender, or about 20 minutes. Drain and serve. Enjoy with mojo, mashed, baked, fried as tostones, mofongo or in any creative recipe you can find.
